Designed For: Nurse practitioners, nurses and other health care professionals in all settings.
This course is designed as a pharmacology update at the advanced practice level for nurse practitioners who are delivering primary health care. Presentations focus on current recommendations and controversies regarding drug therapy for women’s health problems commonly seen in primary care and includes appropriate pharmacotherapeutic principles and recommendations for patient education. Teaching methods include lecture, discussion and case analysis.
