Designed For: All registered nurses who wish to incorporate disaster response and environmental health principles into current practice settings.
Disasters and environmental health issues present unique challenges and new opportunities for expanding nursing practice. This half-day conference presents common environmental health issues and real-world disaster events to identify emerging nursing competencies for response and preparedness across practice settings. Teaching methods include lectures, case studies, and question and
answer sessions.
Time: 8 am - 12:45 pm
Location: Hotel Deca Grand Ballroom
