Conference Brochure. View or print the brochure (PDF)

Designed For: Nurses, nurse practitioners and other interested health care.

Nurses in ambulatory care have diverse roles, serve unique groups of patients, and require specialized clinical and management skills. This conference is an educational forum for those who practice in a wide variety of settings, including large and small clinics, physician offices, home health, long term care, public health, community health, occupational health, schools, college health, military health, specialty clinics and other outpatient settings. Two general sessions and nine sets of concurrent sessions allow you to design a conference to meet your individual needs. Speakers include distinguished local, regional, and national experts speaking on clinical assessment, nursing interventions, administration/management issues, and professional development. Conference goals are to strengthen the practice of nursing, promote innovation, and create seamless systems for your patients and communities. Teaching methods include lecture, discussion, case studies, hands-on skill development, poster sessions, and collegial interchange.

Call for Creative Solutions and Quality Improvement!
Are you working on an innovative strategy for delivering ambulatory care?
If so, please consider presenting a poster. Posters are an informal and low stress way to share effective models of care, quality improvement strategies, and clinical research. For guidelines or to submit an abstract online, click the Call for Abstracts link in the purple sidebar at the left. Poster presenters qualify for the group rate when registering.
