Conference Description
This intensive training program prepares registered dietitians to screen children for nutritional problems, assess specific nutritional needs, and develop interventions for children with nutritional problems and special health care needs. Speakers emphasize decision-making processes and the use of evidence-based practice. Teaching methods include lecture, interactive discussions, demonstration, and case-based learning.
