Conference Description

Intentional and unintentional injury are worldwide public health concerns and a critical issue for nursing practice and social services. Forensic nursing involves the care of clients affected by or at high risk of being affected by intentional and unintentional injury. Clients may be individuals, families, communities or populations. Forensic nurses work across settings, locally and globally, to develop, implement, and evaluate prevention and intervention programs. This conference is an opportunity to update your knowledge of forensic nursing and healthcare and acquire skills that promote collaboration among disciplines when working with clients affected by intentional and unintentional injury. Teaching methods include lecture, discussion, and case study analysis.
